Launched in 1996 and successfully running for nearly 30 years, the Program aims to improve the international exchange and cooperation level of primary and secondary schools in Jiangsu Province, and to enhance students' ability of international understanding . JECIE has always been adhering to the fundamental task of cultivating morality and talents, and has dedicated to developing various courses for different grades, including visiting world-renowned universities, immersive inter-class learning, and visiting local communities, museums, cultural sites, etc. Relying on abundant overseas education resources, this program has become an important platform to promote international exchanges and cooperation among primary and secondary school students. So far, tens of thousands of students have been organized to conduct short-term exchanges and visit sister schools in more than 10 countries and regions, including the United Kingdom, the United States, Australia, Finland, Hong Kong and Macao.
The program helps students fully integrate into the native speaking language environment, which not only can enables them to learn standard language courses, but also to experience features courses, such as English drama performance , techonology English, etc..This program turns language learning into a more lively and interesting experience.
In cooperation with high-quality education institutions around the world, JECIE oragnizes students to transfer to short-term classes overseas to study with international students, to participate in scientific experiments, literary discussions, cultural and sports activities, and to experience the overseas education system.
Student art groups are organized to participate in internationally renowned art events in Vienna, Edinburgh and other places to perform and enhance international art exchange. Outstanding students are selected to participate in international competitions to stimulate academic potential and gain international recognition.
Student delegations are sent to visit overseas sister schools and participate in their daily learning and cultural activities to establish long-term international friendship and promote in-depth cultural understanding and educational concept sharing between students of the two countries.
